Center for Pharmacokinetics
Center for evaluation of pharmacokinetic bioequivalence and biosafety of novel medications
headed by
Doctor of Chemical Sciences
Oschepkova Yulia Igorevna
Center for the evaluation of pharmacokinetics and bioequivalence of medications was founded at the Academician A.S. Sadykov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences
Accreditation Certificate issued by the test center for pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic evaluation of medicinal products No.UZ.AMT.07.MAI 778 dated April 29, 2016
Field of application:
Principle direction of the Center activity is associated with
-
- pharmacokinetic and biopharmaceutical studies in getting up of novel medications and evaluation of the efficacy of the pharmaceutical forms proposed
- evaluation of bioequivalence of the generics produced at the pharmaceutical enterprises of Uzbekistan with the brand name medications on the basis of comparative analysis of their pharmacokinetic parameters and appropriate certification
The pharmacokinetic data make possible objective qualitative and quantitative evaluation of a medication’s biosafety, as well as advantages and disadvantages of one or another way for administration of the pharmaceutical form to make appropriate recommendation for optimal method of administration
The workers of the Center have a good command of current methods for quantitative determination of both novel domestic and the reproduced preparations and their metabolites in biological media.
The laboratory is equipped with the up-to-date facilities and mini-animal facility completed with metabolic cage for animal management.
There is the program support for analysis of the pharmacokinetic data; total clearance of a medication, apparent volume of distribution and mean residence time of the medication in an organism.
Remedy, Remedy Group, Radiks, Nika PHARM, Nobel ILAC are among the companies the Center meets orders of; the preparations generated at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry are for the analysis too.
Below are the generics with the bioequivalence evaluated
